THE CYPRESS THREE
Wine Label design idea for a new Australian Wine. The client asked for an elegant, understated Burgundy bottle ‘wrap-around’ wine label. Grayscale text and graphics with a potential accent colour. A label of good taste. Minimalist, industrial, utilitarian, real - elegance is the most important feature.
The cypresses are shadows put in a 2-point perspective which adds depth to the label. The lines in the drawing creates an element with movement in the logo.

ART DECO
Into the design process, the client asked for more of an industrial feel, he also mentioned he drove a SAAB. As an artist from the Swedish West Coast, I had to play this new inspiration of SAAB into the design.
I illustrated the first SAAB 93 for the label. To add more of an industrial touch to it, I applied the style of Art Deco, an era of design known to be both industrial and classic, think Great Gatsby, Art Deco has come back as a trend in the mid to late 2010s.
LA MANNA ESTATE
Wine label design with a sophisticated feeling, a design concept for LaManna Estate Wines. The two different label styles has one more contemporary, and the towards the classic style.
LaManna Estate Wines requested a label that would be eye catching and sophisticated, representing the popular growing region Chianti of Tuscany. The label needs to look great on both the shelve, as well as on the table.
After some research of the district Chianti, it was found that the area had a local, very specific red sunflower. This was the inspiration for the feature representing the region the vines grows in. The famous sunflower has the same name, Chianti, as the district.

THE LIPIZZANER
The client wanted an elegant label for his new wine. Among many things for inspiration, he wrote "think of The Spanish Riding School Lipizzaners," which became the inspiration to draw this horse. Sophistication was one of the important attributes for the design.
